The basis of the white wine industry in Australia for the last 20 years; this was the very first variety planted at Bago Vineyards in 1985 and is the largest planting of our white grapes. The variety needs lots of care and attention during the growing season but we are often rewarded with excellent long keeping wines when all the elements come together.

Our Chardonnays tend to have full flavour at low sugar levels due to our maritime climate but with high acid levels giving Bago Vineyards Chardonnay longevity.
